Making Space..

Making space... a form of self-care.
Making space can look like many different things: getting rid of self-limiting beliefs, cleaning out your closet, letting go of relationships, creating opportunities for your future self, re-vamping your fitness routine, etc. etc.
Basically, whatever it is you need to open up to what it is that you really want to receive.
For me, the last week it's looked like clearing away clutter in my office and getting my shit together, aka getting organized.
Getting rid of stuff I don't need and finding a space, or "home" as I like to call it, for all that is needed to do my work and be productive.
For me, it's incredibly challenging to get anything done in a cluttered and unorganized space. I spend more time looking for what I need through piles of paper and scattered stuff than I do actually accomplishing the important task that needed to be done, probably yesterday. I also feel a mental, emotional, and physical weight on my chest when my space is chaotic. I myself become distracted and lost. Much like the things strewn about my office floor, they feel lost and confused as well - if you believe things have feelings, which I do.
Some of the ways I want to feel most in my life is Weightless & Free. Spacious. Productive & Purposeful.
So here I am - standing in my cluttered, messy office, ready to make some space for what I want most.
I've got my diffusers going, my favorite playlist on Spotify cranked, a lit candle, some crystals - because #whynot
Clearing out clutter can seem very overwhelming. It's something I'm very familiar with feeling. But if I want to make space for my future, if I want more (or just something different) than what I already have.. well you gotta do what you gotta do!
And so I will choose to have fun creating my very own sacred work space where MAGIC happens. I want the Magic. So I will do the work.
What do you need to make space for in your life? What do you want to feel more of most of the time? Find out what that is, and then have fun doing the work that will make it happen.
**PS, the diffuser blend I am using is called "Clear the Clutter" and it ah-mazing and has been very helpful in my de-clutter process, so I thought I'd share it with you! As always, I only use dōTERRA Essential Oils for their potency & purity. You can learn more through the link. But let's get on with this diffuser blend, shall we?
"Clear the Clutter" Diffuser or Roller Bottle Recipe Blend:
(Recipe is for a 10ml Roller Bottle. To diffuse, just cut the drops in half or whatever feels good to you. Follow your intuition, it knows best)
12 Drops Lemongrass, for it's cleansing properties - completely wiping out low vibrations of "holding onto things", empowering you to let go.
4 Drops Lime, for promoting feelings of appreciation for what you have, creating more gratitude in your heart.
3 Drops Lemon, to help stay focused and on course
1 Drop Cinnamon, provides feelings of confidence, reminding you that you can do it!
1 drop Arborvitae, providing feelings of strength & security through the sometimes emotional process of letting go
3 Drops Douglas Fir, for renewed energy and excitement
I got this recipe blend from my new favorite book: "I AM FABULOUS: Blends for Emotional Well-Being", by Desiree Mangandog L.Ac., M.S.T.O.M

You can purchase this book through OilLife.com (my fav place to buy essential oil resources and accessories, like books, roller bottles, diffusers, and more!)
If you try this recipe, please let me know how it helped you!
And I may be brave enough to share my de-clutter before/after pictures with you when it's all done!
